IVSA is the acronym of International Veterinary Students’ Association, in fact it is the only student association of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of Bologna that allows you to have an approach to our profession from a global point of view.
As the IVSA Global Mission states, the main objective of the Association is to benefit people and animals from all over the world through the deepening of veterinary education and knowledge at an international level.
Precisely for this reason all the IVSA chapters are committed to respecting this goal by organizing many events, relating to different aspects of the veterinary profession, including:

Every year there are congresses (July / August) and symposia (January / February) in which the IVSA Global General Assembly meets. These events are held all over the world, each year in a different IVSA location.
They allow you not only to learn and deepen topics strictly related to the veterinary profession, interfacing with universities all over the world, but also prove to be a means to enrich yourself at 360 °, coming into contact with different cultures.
